2. What data the app processes

CaffeineCurfew processes the following data locally on your device:

• Caffeine intake you log — the drinks, amounts and times you enter, plus the calculated caffeine values derived from them.
• Apple Health data you grant access to — for example sleep stages (such as deep sleep), heart rate, heart rate variability, respiratory rate and wrist temperature. The app only reads the categories you explicitly allow, and uses them solely to personalise your caffeine model and show your sleep insights.
• App settings — your preferences, thresholds and similar configuration.

3. Where your data is stored

All of the above is stored only on your device. CaffeineCurfew has no backend server and makes no network connection to transmit your personal or health data. Apple Health data is governed by Apple's own privacy protections and is never copied off your device by this app.

4. No tracking, no analytics, no advertising

The app contains no third-party analytics, tracking or advertising frameworks. It does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), does not build a profile of you for marketing, and does not sell or share your data with anyone. In particular, health and sleep data is never used for advertising or marketing, and is never disclosed to third parties.

5. Purchases (subscriptions & Lifetime)

Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription or a one-time purchase. Payments and subscription management are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; CaffeineCurfew never sees your payment details. Apple processes this data under Apple's Privacy Policy. The app only stores, on your device, whether Pro is currently unlocked.

6. Notifications

If you enable the optional evening reminder, the app schedules local notifications on your device. No notification data is sent to any external server.

7. How long data is kept & how to delete it

Your data stays on your device for as long as the app is installed. You are in full control:

• Delete app data: removing CaffeineCurfew from your iPhone deletes the data it stored on the device.
• Revoke Health access: at any time under iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → CaffeineCurfew.

8. Your rights

Because your data is processed locally and we hold no copy of it on any server, we cannot access, export or delete it for you remotely — you control it directly on your device. Under the GDPR you nevertheless have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. If you have any question about your data, contact us at support@jnmcloud.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority.

9. Children

CaffeineCurfew is not directed at children and does not knowingly process data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The current version is always available at this URL, with the date shown at the top.
